The University will open for its regular activities tomorrow (Wednesday, February 13).
All Wednesday classes will be held as scheduled.
University shuttle service will resume its normal schedule.
Residence hall students who are currently off campus may now return to Southern.
While most municipalities have streets and roadways that are now
accessible, we recognize that some individuals may still have
circumstances that prevent them from reaching campus on Wednesday. If
that is the case, please contact your faculty member (if you are a
student), or your department chair or supervisor (of you are a faculty
or staff member).
Tuesday, Feb. 12
The University is closed today (Tuesday, February 12), due to the massive cleanup in the wake of the blizzard and the continued poor condition of access roads to campus.
All Tuesday classes are canceled and only essential personnel are required to report.
So that the cleanup can continue unimpeded, faculty and non-essential staff are asked not to come to campus for any reason Tuesday, even if the access roads are clear at that time.
