We evaluated and logged the following 12 notifications for Special Topics to be offered in Fall 2005:

JRN 298              Introduction to Photojournalism:  Shooting for Print
JRN 298              Television Sports Features
MDS 298             Media, Culture, and Self
MDS 298             Center for Communication Seminars
MDS 298             Media Education in the Classroom
MDS 298             Television and the Family
MDS 398             Profiling in the Mass Media
MDS 398             Postmodernism, Parody, Pastiche:  Deconstructing the Simpsons
SPA 398             Culture and Civilization of Puerto Rico

Members would like to know if we can begin requiring that departments use the most current form for the notifications?  We still receive submissions in both the old and current versions and that complicates the evaluation process.  Betty suggested that either an e-mail with directions on acquiring the form, or the distribution of a copy of the form, could go to all department chairs.
