Present:  Adam Abugri, Tom Fleming, Lisa Bier, Rachael Vaters-Carr, Claire Novosad, Christine Barrett

The committee logged the following six notifications for Special Topics:

MDS 298         Media, Culture, and Self
MDS 298         Contemporary Media Debates
 

The committee discussed the explanation provided by the Exercise Science Department in regards to our request for clarification of the limited options for the certain university requirements and the resource summary.  The committee found the explanation helpful and is still supportive of the proposal to change the Athletic Training Education Program from a concentration to a distinct major, but believes the proposal should be edited to include the explanation for future readers.  The proposal will be returned to the Exercise Science Department for revision.
