ITA 398 - Love Books of the Renaissance
This course is designed to enhance students' understanding of Italian Renaissance society and culture. Through the analyses of texts that  focus primarily on love and its implications, students will explore topics such as the moral and ethical principles underpinning that society; the historical and political contexts in which those texts were produced; and the geographic, architectural, and artistic settings in which they developed. Specific emphasis placed on honing analytical and written skills.
