I. Call to order 9:35 a.m.
II. Announcements
- J. Feng read an email from one of her colleagues about his concerns about midterm grades and textbook choices.
- M. Heidman announces a writing workshop will be held in Jan 2007 - the 16 & 17th with a third half-day (Jan 18th after the Forum) for writing/finishing up W course paperwork.
- The 28th University Forum will be on Jan 18th from 8;30-2:30pm on the teaching and reaching of first year students from a professor from U of Rhode Island C. Peters.
- The first subcommittee meeting for next year will be on Jan. 25
- The first UCF meeting for the Spring 2007 semester will be Feb. 1st.
III. Approval of minutes of 11/9/06, 11/30/06 and 5/4/06 (if they are available.)
11/9/06 and 11/30/06 minutes. Unanimous approval with one abstention.
IV. Acceptance of standing committee minutes of 12/07/06
All minutes accepted, unanimous approval with one abstention.

Motion: Motion to approve revised program proposal for Marketing Concentration in Business Administration (B.S.) - Motion passed. All approved with one abstention.
- Discussion re. CSC 200 was ruled out of order.

- FYE committee selection explained.
Motion: UCF endorses the design and charge of this temporary First-Year Experience Committee. - Motion passed. All approved with one abstention.

Motion:
- Given the principle and existing structures of shared governance at SCSU and faculty responsibility for assessment of student learning and academic programs, and
- Given that a process for assessment of academic programs has been in operation since 1998, approved by UCF and confirmed again in 2001,
PRAC moves that
1. this document to be submitted to the Program Review Task Force
2. UCF reminds the University that any actions generated by Program Review Task Force that modify the existing procedures as outlined by the document must be approved by UCF.
- Motion passed. All approved with one abstention.

- Given that a process for assessment of academic programs has been in operation since 1998, approved by UCF and confirmed again in 2001,
PRAC moves that
- this document to be submitted to the Program Review Task Force
- any actions generated by Program Review Task Force that modify the existing procedures as outlined by the document must be approved by UCF.
