I. The meeting was called to order at 9:41 am.

II. Announcements
• Ray Mugno announced that the Annual CSU Assessment Conference will be held at SCSU on Friday, April 18th.
• Arman Marsoobian announced a month long series of events on genocide.  Remembrance and reflection will take place at SCSU through events that will be free and open to the public.

III. Approval of Minutes from March 6, 2008 - Minutes were approved

IV. Standing committee reports and acceptance of minutes; votes on standing committee motions

• NMC
• Minutes were received
• Revised NMC forms were presented to the UCF - Dr. Weiss made a motion, seconded by Dr. Shea that the NMC forms be approved - Motion was passed with 5 abstentions
• NPIC
• Minutes were corrected as follows, then received:  PHI 398, Philosophy of Time was added to the log.  This course will be taught in fall 2008.
• A motion was made to approve the new NPIC forms.  The motion was tabled so that forms could be reworked by the committee with the following suggestions in mind:
a. Minor Program Proposal - Summary forms should be corrected to New Minor Program Proposal - Summary forms
b. Minor Program Proposal - Required Materials should be corrected to New Minor Program Proposal - Required Materials
c. The section with the free elective check off box should be clarified and possibly revised.

• UWIC - Due to a lack of time, UWIC minutes were not received.

• PRAC - Due to a lack of time, PRAC minutes were not received.

• WACC
• Minutes were received
• Dr. Marsland announced that the last WACC meeting to approve Spring 2009 W-courses will be April 17, 2008.
