I. The meeting was called to order at 9:35am.

II. Announcements

• Provost Williams has approved a change from 6 credits per dept. for each 5 year program review cycle to 7 credits per dept. for each 7 year program cycle (per new 7 year cycle approved by UCF).

III. Approval of UCF minutes of April 15, 2010 and April 29, 2010
• All approved minutes with one abstention for April 15th and one abstention for April 29th.

VI. Old Business - Revision of UCF Constitution
• Continued discussion on revising the constitution.  Discussion involved ensuring subcommittee goals were updated, changing the student representative from two members to one representative and one alternate, updating the Chair election criteria, and changing the required quorum to three-quarters of a two-thirds majority.

VII. New Business - election of UCF Chairperson
• P. Kalbaugh nominated M. Hartog for the UCF Chair position. M. Fede seconded the nomination.  M. Hartog accepted the nomination.
• M Hartog was unanimously elected by the UCF body.

VIII. Adjournment - the meeting was adjourned at 10:49am.
