I. The meeting was called to order at 9:40 a.m.
 Quorum (50% + 1) was reached with 29 voting members at 9:45 a.m.

II. Announcements
a. On Wed. Dec. 8th and Thurs. Dec. 9th the Art Department will host its annual pottery sale between EN A & B wings.
b. J. Fuller has rock and meteorite samples from the moon for viewing.
c. M. Hartog - The meetings for spring 2011 are posted on UCF website, and will begin with Standing Committee meetings the first week of the semester (Jan. 27th) and ending with a UCF meeting during final exam week. UCF will meet 2/3, 2/17, 3/3, 3/17, 4/7, 4/21, 5/5, 5/19.
d. M. Shea - Campaign for Student Success (faculty donations through payroll deduction) will hold a holiday event next Wed. from 1-2pm outside between EN and ASC with the Grinch and Santa. There will be a "guess who" contest with the opportunity to win a $100 Barnes & Noble gift certificate.
e. G. Adams - Students for Sensible Drug Policy, a SCSU Student Chapter of the national organization, will be examining resident life and community policies.

i. Discussion of 11/18 meeting
1. Employer survey created by the Office of Assessment and Planning was reviewed. Employers are to be surveyed regarding employment of SCSU graduates after students identify employers on a preceding survey.  PRAC needs to check whether or not alumni surveys indicate that SCSU will contact employers.
2. PRAC bylaws approved unanimously by committee
3. PRAC motion to accept recommendation for continuing approval to Theatre Department

e. WACC
i. Discussion of 11/18 meeting
1. 170 W-sections this fall and 170 planned for spring 2011
2. Motion to approve four W-course sections: ENG 398 Multimedia Writing (J. Tarbox); GEO 260 Population Geography (J. D'Agostino); ENG 301 Introduction to Literary Analysis and Critical Theory (C. Baraw); LIT 488 Seminar in World Literature (J. West)
1) Motion approved unanimously
3. Motion to approve WACC change to guidelines altering the wording from "should" to "require"
1) K. Cummings called question, M. Fede 2nd
2) Motion approved with two abstentions
4. Provost Williams asked WACC to increase caps on W-courses. Subsequently, surveys were disseminated to faculty teaching W-courses to assess their experiences working with the cap of 18 students.

f. LEPC
i. Discussion of 11/3 and 11/10 meetings
a. LEPC will prepare a document to address frequently asked questions.
b. LEPC worked with K. Yalof on catalog revisions to change University Requirements to LEP Requirements.
c. Nursing needs LEP requirements to be completed during students' sophomore year to leave final two years to focus on clinical requirements. Discussions need to occur between Nursing and departments responsible for majors' other requirements (i.e., chemistry/biology) to facilitate/encourage those departments to submit their courses as LEP courses.

V. Old Business
a. To update the Catalogue Changes related to LEP, a handout with proposed and confirmed Catalogue Changes was distributed.
i. UCF Chair will confirm changes in italics/with question marks on handout), and present changes to UCF at next meeting.
b. In preparation for approval of UCF revised bylaws, a handout on the UCF Guiding Principles was distributed.
