PCH 358 -Health Policy
Revised course proposal. The proposal was revised to require "junior status" as a prerequisite.

G. Puerschner moved to approve; N. DeCrosta seconded. Motion passed unanimously.

PCH 375 - Health Education
The Department of Public Health withdrew the proposal to eliminate a prerequisite.

PCH 362 - Public Health Administration
Revised course. Revised proposal specifying "junior status" as prerequisite.

G. Puerschner moved to approve; N. DeCrosta seconded. Motion passed unanimously.

PCH 430 - Health Promotion Priorities
New course proposal. Revised proposal stating "junior status" as prerequisite. Public Health will keep "Healthy People 2010" in the course description.

G. Puerschner moved to approve; N. DeCrosta seconded. Motion passed unanimously.

PCH Program Revisions - Health Promotion and Environmental Specializations
Includes addition of new courses and removal of PCH 455 (Health Planning) from both programs and removal of Microbiology from Health Promotion. Letter from Chair of Biology Department included.

J. Bloch moved to accept; G. Puerschner seconded. Motion passed unanimously.

MKT 320 - Principles of Marketing
Marketing is proposing changing prerequisites from ECO 100 and 101 to junior standing. Economics would like the prerequisites to be: junior or senior standing in the School of Business. No vote was taken. P. Gallup will contact both departments to inform them of our request to meet with NMC if the departments cannot resolve the issues themselves.

SOC 314 - Irish American Experience
New course proposal. M. Ryan (course proposer) was present. Approval of course subsequent to change prerequisites from none to junior standing.

G. Puerschner moved to accept. J. Bloch seconded. Motion passed unanimously.

ANT 331 - Peoples and Cultures of the Caribbean
G. Puerschner moved to accept, subsequent to completion of bibliography ; J. Bloch seconded. Motion passed unanimously.

ANT 380- The Anthropology of Women and Health
J. Bloch moved to accept, subsequent to correcting course title on signature page; G. Puerschner seconded. Motion passed unanimously.

ANT 470- Ethnographic Fieldwork Methods
J. Bloch moved to accept, subsequent to correcting course prerequisites add the word or; G. Puerschner seconded. Motion passed unanimously.

EXS 310 Pharmacology for Atheletic Trainers and 410 Pathophysiology
EXS resubmitted these courses to NMC after having reached an arrangement with the Nursing Department related to overlap of course content.

G. Puerschner moved to accept, J. Bloch seconded.
Motion passed by a vote of 6 in favor, 1 opposed.

EXS Program Revisions
Proposal accepted subsequent to specifying which EXS courses will meet the All-University Requirement.
