CSC 153 Programming II - Revised Course
Change prerequisites to require grade of C or better in CSC 152.

Motion to approve: G. Puerschner. Second: J. Granfield.  Unanimously approved.

CSC 212 Data Structures and Algorithm Analysis - Revised Course
Change prerequisites to require grade of C or better in CSC 153.

Motion to approve: G. Puerschner. Second: J. Granfield.  Unanimously approved.

New BUS major specialization in International Business
The committee reviewed revised material for this proposal.

Motion to approve: G. Puerschner. Second: L. Rebeschi.  Unanimously approved.

ENG 301 Literary Analysis and Critical Theory - New Course
Committee requests clarification about this course as a prerequisite for other English courses. Slightly expanded catalog description. Program revision needs to accompany course proposal, since this will be a required course.

Send back to department for Program Revision.

HIS 340 The Crusades - New Course
Course approved with slight revisions in catalog description. The NMC approves the new course, but does not approve "L" designations.

Motion to approve: J. Bloch. Second: J. Granfield.  Unanimously approved.

MKT 320 - Principles of Marketing - Revised Course
Proposal to eliminate ECO 100 &101 as prerequisites for this course and change to "Junior or Senior status." Prof. M. Mostaghimi from the ECO department met with the committee to present his Department's objections to this change. (As an alternative ECO has proposed "Junior or Senior Business Major" which is not acceptable to MKT.)

A member of the MKT faculty will be a guest at the 5/11/00 meeting.

Addendum to minutes of 4/13/00

ECO 351 International Economics II: Finance - New Course
Original proposal was revised to include expanded course objectives and minor corrections. The NMC unanimously accepted ECO 351 on 4/13/00.
