George made a motion to accept the course;  Pina seconded.

FRE 103   Paris

NMC will refer these courses to UWIC, as they impact on the AUR

CHE 452-453   Biochemistry I and Biochemistry II
Jim made a motion to accept;  Pina seconded.

English Department Program Revision

Needs a new CPR sheet
Recommend that forms be typed *
Second paragraph suggests that ENG 395 may fill an apparent gap in English requirement.  NMC questioned the dropping of the course with an understanding that the gap may be filled in the future.
If the course is "going beyond Faulkner" - as noted in Rationale (#4), does the catalogue description need to be changed?
Peggy will request that members from the English department present these changes to the NMC to help clarify these issues.
 

* the issue of whether programs submitted to the NMC need to be typed.  George made a motion (seconded by Jim) that this issue be brought to the floor of the UCF.
