- BIO 340 Animal Physiology (Revised course)
Course revision and change in pre-requisites. NMC received a statement of the rationale for these changes, as it had requested.

Approved 6-0 - ANT 323/WMS 323 Women in Prehistory (New course)
The NMC approved this course upon receipt of the following minor revisions. Specify elective in what program. Clarify whether pre-requisites should include "and/or".

Chemistry Program Revision
The Chemistry Department submitted proposals (for all of its major programs) to require that chemistry majors who transfer to SCSU be required to take 16 credits of chemistry courses at SCSU at the 300 level or higher. The NMC reviewed each proposal.

Discussion
Changes in the UCF Constitution
J. Bloch told the NMC about changes in the UCF constitution that will be presented at the final UCF meeting on May 17th, 2001.
Statement of UCF functions
B. Farley-Lucas prepared a statement about Task and Goal Clarification for the NMC. The Committee, after making minor wording changes, asked that the statement be sent to the UCF chair for review.
