2. Proposals approved pending changes: Beena made the motion to accept each of the following, and Kathy seconded; the proposals were approved unanimously, pending the following issues:

A. HON 254 (The World of Utopian and Dystopias): Minor typo in catalog description; proposals states "See attached syllabus" for course outline, but no syllabus was attached.

B. EDU 311 (Integrated Curriculum Upper Elem. Grades): Minor Typo in catalog description; some confusion over the change in prerequisites (EDU 312 or 320?); rationale for changes needed.

3. Other Business

A. Discussion concerning course revisions: When courses have not been offered in a long while, should changes such as renumbering, the changing of a title, and/or new catalog descriptions be treated as minor course revisions (as is the present policy), or do these changes in effect suggest the development of a new course? (For example, should there be a line drawn regarding courses that have not offered in a certain number of semesters?) Also, should there be more extensive and unified archives, whereby there can be easy reference to nature of specific courses before and after minor changes?
