PSC 334 - World Public Opinion: Some discussion took place on making learning objectives more outcome-based. Beena made a motion to accept it pending this change, and Joe seconded it. Motion approved.

It was decided that these the proposals could not be approved by NMC since they did not have the signature of the Chairperson of the School Curriculum signature on the forms. The cover letter from the SCC Chair suggested changes to be made before they were approved in the School. There was not enough evidence of this having been done in the copies we received.
SOC 415/WMS 415 - Contemporary Feminist Theories: Change in title from 20th Century Feminist Thought. Nancy made a motion to accept and Beena seconded it. Motion approved.
SOC 218/JST 218 - Sociology of American Jewry: Discussion took place. Pending minor changes-in the course description, fully-alphabetizing the Bibliography, providing a more informative rationale, and providing learning objectives that are more outcome-based-Nancy made the motion to accept and Vince seconded it. Motion approved.
Soc 219/JST 219 - Sociology of Modern Israel: Discussion took place. Pending minor changes-in the course description, fully-alphabetizing the Bibliography, clarifying the rationale, and providing learning objectives that are more outcome-based, and also notifying the History and Journalism Departments-Nancy made the motion to accept and Vince seconded it. Motion approved.
