BS-Sociology- Aging and Aged and BS-Sociology-Social/Behavior Research Theory: Nancy made a motion to delete from offerings in department since students were not enrolling in these majors. Approved unanimously.

MAR/ENV 491-Seminar in Environmental and Marine Studies; and Marine Studies Minor:

Nancy made a motion to accept change in course title and description and having it as a requirement in minor.  Approved unanimously.

MKT 425-Marketing Research- Change course from 4.0 to 3.0 credits and pre-requisites. Karen made a motion to accept. Approved unanimously.

MKT 440- E-Marketing: Change course from 4.0 to 3.0 credits and pre-requisites. Nancy made a motion to accept. Passed unanimously.

MUS 308-Opera: Table pending approval from MDS department. In the new catalogue description "communicate meaning on many levels". This may be related to MDS.

ART 370-Art Education, Elementary School and ART 371- Art Education Secondary School:

Change in the prerequisites due to problems of enrolling and not having met entrance requirements into department. Nancy made a motion to accept. Approved unanimously.

MDS 497-Media Studies Internship: Nancy made a motion to accept course. Approved unanimously.

Sociology Minor: Kathy made a motion that we accept change of deleting ANT 101 as a requirement and adding another Sociology course pending signature of Anthropology Dept. Approved unanimously.


(the following programs in Sociology involved deleting ANT 101 as a requirement and replacing with another Sociology course and replacing with new courses and renumbering. It also involved a change in cognates. All were approved pending notification to Anthropology.)

BA Sociology: Karen made a motion that we accept change in requirements in major. Approved unanimously.

BS Sociology: Nancy made a motion that we accept change in requirements in major and cognates. Approved unanimously.

BS Sociology-History and Social Sciences: Wes made a motion that we accept changes in requirements in major. Approved unanimously.

BS Sociology-Crime and Criminal Justice: Karen made a motion to accept change in title, major and cognates. Approved unanimously.

BS Sociology-Family and Gender Studies: Karen made a motion to accept a change in title, major and cognates. Approved unanimously.

BS-Sociology-Urban Community: Kathy made a motion to accept change in major and cognates. Approved unanimously.

BS Sociology-Ethnic and Racial Relations: Nancy made a motion to accept changes in major and cognates. Approved unanimously.

 
THR 340- German Naturalism & Expressionism: The Theater in Transition: Karen made a motion to accept the course proposal with signature of Foreign Language Department. Approved unanimously.

PSY 487L- Psychopharmacology: Karen made a motion that we accept the new course proposal (PSY 487). Approved unanimously.
