NUR 457
Linda Wagner attended this meeting to answer questions related to her new course proposal (previously submitted and reviewed), NUR 457, titled Advanced Clinical Concepts: Selected Health Issues for Practice. Following the committee's recommendations, Linda set junior status or departmental permission as the prerequisite for this course. Additional recommendations were presented: remove '2010' from the Healthy People reference in the course description to avoid course revision in 41/2 years, and removal of section in outline regarding 'examinations and quizzes' as this is not part of student evaluation for this course.

MIS/BS in Business Management
The committee received a revised program proposal for Major in Business Administration, specialization in Management Information Systems. Review of the proposals revealed an increase in credits from 122 to 124 that major students would need to graduate from this program. [University Requirements = 41 credits, Major Requirements = 61 credits, Elective Requirements = 19 credits, Professional Requirement = 3 credits] The committee recommends that Management/MIS reduce their electives by two (2) credits. Also, Management/MIS needs to reflect this change in elective credits on the CPR form along with the removal of MIS 361 under item 34 as MIS 361 is now a major requirement. The committee also recommends that Management/MIS obtain letters from Accounting, Marketing and Economics since they are adding courses in these departments as required elective options.
