PSY 219 - Lifespan Development, a new course proposal, was reviewed. A program revision is needed, but was not received; the course will be an elective in the program. Other departments currently require another PSY course, which this course will replace (i.e. Recreation & Leisure).
Discussion of MDS 150 as presented at the last UCF Meeting.
A summary of UCF discussion of UWIC and MDS 150 for NMC members not in attendance at the last UCF meeting was presented. The Committee determined that the notification issue did not fall on NMC.
Recommendation: UCF needs to update the Flow of Proposals into more substantial procedures for UCF subcommittees and faculty to follow. NMC recommends that the Flow of Proposals be distributed at the next UCF meeting if MDS 150 will be discussed.
