Notification Management Committee Minutes

Meeting called to order at 9:40 am

Review of Proposals Forms

The committee went over proposal forms. Additional changes to the forms were discussed and suggested to Kim Laing. Once changes are made, the committee will compare the forms with the guidelines.

Review of Proposals

1. Revised Program Proposal
Public Health: B.S. in Public Health

In compliance with the accreditation criteria, the program is proposing: the addition of acceptance, maintenance, and graduation requirements; replacing a required core course (PCH 362) with a revised old course (PCH 363); and the addition of a new general concentration consisting of 300-400 level PCH courses that already exist.

Two courses have been newly added to the Sociology major electives options. Both courses will provide greater breadth of content in the major to allow students to pursue their interests in the field of Sociology.
