Review of Proposals

Revised Program Proposals

  • Physics: B.S. Physics - Specializations: General and Engineering Concentration

PHY department proposes to allow students two alternative pathways to a B.S. in Physics. They propose to split their current B.S. in the Physics program into two separate tracks, each of which is designed to better meet the needs of a specific population of students.

  • Physics: B.S. Physics with Certification

MAT 245 - Differential Equations, will be added to the degree requirements and PHY 401- Classical Mechanics II, will be deleted from the requirements, but may still be applied to the total credits in physics required for the degree, which will remain at 30. Grades of C-or higher will be required for each of the following courses: PHY 230-231, 309 and 370.

  • Physics: B.A. Physics
