Notification Management Committee Minutes
November 8, 2007
In attendance: Adam Abugri, Nancy Disbrow, Deborah Flynn (co-chair & recorder), Rich Glinka, Sean Grace, Rich Kustin, Tricia Lin (co-chair), Kathy Mauro
Meeting called to order at 10:05 am
The meeting began with a discussion of Committee membership and a concern about meeting the requirement for a quorum. The current membership is at 14 (up from 11 last year) and requires the presence of 8 members for a quorum. The Committee missed one meeting this semester for lack of a quorum and has on occasion delayed the start of the meeting while waiting for enough members to arrive. Currently there are three members of the Committee who, for various reasons, are unable this semester to regularly attend NMC meetings. This puts the Committee's work in jeopardy when fewer than 8 of the 11 regularly attending members are present. Tricia will contact those members unable to attend meetings this semester to discuss alternatives to NMC membership.
