DESCRIPTIONS OF LOGGED COURSES:
FLA 298 - Chinese I
Basic grammar and vocabulary, mastering reading and writing elementary Chinese. One-hour session weekly in the language laboratory required to complement class work through video, tape, practice, and films.
FLA 298 - Chinese II
Readings of simple Chinese and the fundamentals of composition and conversation will be studied. A one-hour session in the language laboratory is required each week.
MGT 498 - Managing Beyond Compliance
Through the use of contemporary feature films, the course will examine the development, issues, and current ideas dealing with ethical and socially responsible behavior of management in the field of business administration.
MDS 298 - Approaches to Intnl. Film
Exploration of formal and cultural approaches to international cinema as it is a reflection of, a response to, or a reaction against the conventions of classical Hollywood style and the cultural setting within which it was created.
MDS 298 - Masculinities in Pop Culture
Examines gendered representations of masculinities in popular culture.
