COM 498 - Current Issues in Advertising and Promotions
In-depth examination of current trends and issues in advertising and promotional communication.  This seminar style class emphasizes case study analysis of current and future trends in the field..

ILS 398 - Introduction to Storytelling
Critical study and practice of storytelling.  Included are the history, the methods, and analysis, the selection, the practice, in various settings and for numerous age groups.

WMS 298 - Gender, Sexuality, and Queer Studies
Introduction to queer theory that utilizes a feminist anthropological lens to study questions concerning gender and sexuality.

II. Old Business
A. New Minor Program Proposal in Film Studies

NPIC continued our discussion about the proposed minor in Film Studies.  NPIC has sent one final request back to MDS and is awaiting a response before voting on the minor.  NPIC hopes to bring the minor to UCF for a vote on May 20th.
