Subcommittee Meeting Minutes

Present: Coron (Chair), Durwin, Kottler, Shyam, Kumar

The Subcommittee met to discuss the results of the vote on PRAC resolutions and to devise language describing PRAC's role for the Constitution draft.

The following language has been adopted to describe the mandate of the Program Review and Assessment Committee, based on the role(s) of the PRAC as expressed in the three resolutions approved by the UCF membership.

The Program Review and Assessment Committee:

Defines and applies UCF assessment standards and procedures for supporting departments undergoing academic program assessment.
Ensures that agreements between departments and the administration regarding post-assessment commitments and improvement plans are documented and fully supported by the administration.
Reports to the UCF membership on the progress of the assessment process.
This description will be sent to UCF members as an addendum to the Constitution.
