Program Review and Assessment Committee Minutes

November 8, 2001

Members Present: C. Coron (Chair), Bob Gelbach, A. Kumar, H. Podnar, W. Shyam

The meeting opened with Bob Gelbach's update on the NEASC Site Visit. Bob reported that there was a very good feedback from the visiting NEASC members regarding Southern's Self-Study.

Cynthia Coron reported that the steering committee was in support of providing monetary assistance to Mike Shea's on-going assessment of the SCore program.

PRAC is also seeking to meet with Dr. Dick Gerber from the Assessment Office and Dr. Phil Smith to discuss the proposed Survey instrument that will be used to assess the process by which Departments have undergone self-study.

The rest of the meeting was taken up finalizing the survey questionnaire.
