Program Review and Assessment Committee - Minutes of 11/14/02

Present: K. Buterbaugh, C. Durwin, A. Kumar, S. Selenskas, W. Shyam

The meeting began at 10:05 a.m.

There was a brief discussion of the assessment meeting last week with Vice President Smith, Ellen Beatty, Jon Bloch, and James Tait for the benefit of committee members who were not able to attend that meeting.

The committee is looking at assessment processes and techniques at other institutions. We reviewed the list of "Outcomes Assessment Resources on the Web" and identified twenty one university web sites on assessment that we would like to explore. We divided the list among the members present. Each member will prepare a brief summary report of the web resources for the next PRAC meeting.

The meeting adjourned at 10:35 a.m.
