PROGRAM REVIEW AND ASSESSMENT COMMITTEE

Minutes of: September 11th 2003

Present: C. Coron, J. Critzer,J. McCombes-Tolis, M. Moss, R. Mugno, H. Podnar, E. Schmitt, W. Shyam.

Started: 10:00am.

The meeting started with a welcome and short introductions of new members. Following the introductions, the meeting proceeded with an overview of PRAC's history, its current and future role, and the list of past activities that PRAC's members participated in. All the members expressed their interest in the SCSU assessment process and agreed that PRAC should increase its involvement.

The members were informed about the current assessment process and the efforts made by the acting assessment coordinator Dr. M. Kennedy to redefine the process. The members shared their ideas and suggestions regarding the change of SCSU assessment culture.

The members did cast their vote for Dr. C. Coron to continue her duties as the chairperson of PRAC. The meeting time was confirmed to be every other Thursday from 9:30-11:00am.
