Minutes of: November 18th 2004

Present: C. Coron (co-chair), K. Cummings, R. Mugno, H. Podnar (co-chair), E. Schmitt, W. Shyam.

Started: 10:10 am.

The complete meeting time was devoted to the development of the assessment workshop grant proposal to be submitted to the Faculty Development Office. At the beginning of the meeting, copies of the first draft developed by Dr. Cummings were distributed. Other members contributed to the proposal development process, by providing their additions and suggestions. As stated in the proposal "The primary goal of the proposed activity is to demonstrate that assessment is being successfully used to improve learning and teaching at SCSU." If the proposal is approved, the allocated financial support will be used to cover costs related to the organization of the workshops (printed material, refreshments). The copy of the proposal is available upon request.
