PROGRAM REVIEW AND ASSESSMENT COMMITTEE

PRAC members decided to gather more information about the current efforts in determining the SCSU assessment process. PRAC would like to find out about departmental assessment schedule and available resources provided by SCSU. PRAC will invite Dr. Kennedy to participate in one of the future meetings regarding the matter.

Another topic of interest was the external accrediting bodies influence over SCC's and UCF's new course proposals' assessment criteria.  No conclusions were reached.

The discussion about the assessment language continued. Members agreed that a number of representative course proposals with appropriate assessment language could be beneficial to faculty developing new proposals. PRAC will continue this discussion at a later meeting.
