Program Review and Assessment Committee (PRAC)

1. The committee discussed the revised report submitted by the Biology Department and the revised report submitted by the Nursing Department.
2.  The committee agreed that the Biology Department had met all three standards; however, it was recommended that as the Biology Department moves forward in the assessment process, the document should be restructured to accomplish better alignment of goals, expected outcomes and measurements.  The committee agreed to provide the Biology Department with some examples in order to facilitate that realignment.
3.  The committee discussed the revised report submitted by the Nursing Department. It was agreed that all three standards were met.  The department was commended for their work and no further revisions were necessary.

PRAC, therefore, has two motions to be acted upon:

First Motion: UCF concurs with PRAC's recommendation that the Nursing Department has met the first three standards for assessment.

Second Motion:  UCF concurs with PRAC's recommendation that the Biology Department has met the first three standards for assessment.
