University Wide Impact Committee Minutes

Present:  Frank Harris (Chair),  Rosalyn Amenta, Sandy DiFrancesco, Marty Hartog, Megan Macomber, Kathy Swenson

Call to Order:  9:40

CPR/Catalog Confirmation
Discussion ensued concerning dates set up on the CPR/Catalog flow sheet: Dates agreed upon were:
Oct 1st - CPR/Catalog sheets into UCF
Nov 15th - Department chairs get sheet for review
Dec 15th - Dept chairs finish with review and send sheets to AVP
Feb 15th - Catalog and CPR Forms printed for scheduled Feb 15th distribution

After much discussion it was decided the committee needs a list of all current All University Requirement courses.

UWIC committee agreed it is going to eliminate courses on the CPR forms that are not currently offered in the catalog.  It was also suggested that Jim Tait send an e-mail to all faculty members instructing the departments themselves to cross off courses on their CPRs that are not listed in the catalog, rather than waiting for UWIC to do it.

Earth Science 104 AUR Proposal
Harris informed committee that he had received the additional documents from Earth Science (an amended CPR form and a letter of acknowledgement of notification from the Biology Department) and had signed and forwarded Earth Science's proposal to the UCF.
