University - Wide Impact Committee  (UWIC )

October 5th, 2000

Present: Polly Beals, Roslyn Amenta, Sandy DiFrancesco, Sheila Garvey, Kathy Swenson, Frank Harris, Radhika Nandlal.

The committee welcomed Radhika Nandlal-Nursing as a new committee member.

The committee met with Shirley Jackson (Sociology and Anthropology) to
discuss her nine proposals.

The committee decided to table until the next meeting any decision on the
proposals.  The committee members are contacting the affected departments
to verify AURs and Shirley is revising CPR forms that had some inconsistencies.

Frank Harris proposed keeping a log of proposals received (dating and
numbering them) and entering their disposition. The committee agreed.
