UNIVERSITY - WIDE   IMPACT   COMMITTEE  (UWIC)

Present: Sandy DiFrancesco, Marty Hartog, Frank Harris, Kathy Swenson, Sheila Garvey

Frank Harris brought up the issue of developing standardized criteria and
guidelines to be used by UWIC for AUR and L-course proposals.

We have received nine revised program proposals and related documents from
Sociology and Anthropology.  We are reviewing them for AURs as they appear
on the forms.  We are contacting Shirley Jackson to speak to us about the
proposals at the next UWIC meeting (which is on October 5th).
