After much discussion, the committee agreed on the following motion to be submitted to the general body for approval.
"UCF approves the following timeline for the flow of new and revised course proposals and revised program proposals".

If a proposal for a new or revised course, or a revised program is approved by April 14 of a given academic year, the changes should be included in the course catalog of the next academic year.
Proposers should bear in mind that the above timeline is a best case scenario, and does not take into consideration unforeseen delays."
Motion - K. Gatzke; Second - J. Manzella
Motion passed 9-0
Wes gave the committee a brief history as to why the Standards for Undergraduate Curriculum Proposals were created. Under the By-Laws, there is supposed to be a document called, "Criteria for Evaluating Proposals." This does not exist, hence the creation of the Standards for Undergraduate Curriculum Proposals.
The directive to the committee was to review the Standards for Undergraduate Curriculum Proposals for possible revisions.
There was discussion about the word 'evaluation' as used in the Constitution. The committee will bring the discussion to the UCF body.
The meeting adjoined at 10:45am.
Motion - W. O'Brien; Second - K. Laing
