I. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 9:35am.
II. Old Business
The standing committee approved the course revisions (allowing the prerequisite of a grade "C" or better, or two years of secondary language coursework in the language in question, or the passing of a placement exam administered by WLL) for the following courses from the Department of World Languages and Literatures:
FRE 101, 200, 210
GER 101, 201, 201, 203
ITA 101, 200, 210,
SPA 101, 200, 210
The course revisions were passed with the following vote: 14 yeas, 0 nays, 0 abstentions.
III. New Business
The standing committee voted to accept a new course CHI 200 from WLL with the result of 14 yeas, 0 nays, 0 abstentions.
The standing committee next discussed the possible impact of newly developed 4-credit courses on current AUR and the future LEP.
