HOW TO MAKE THE CAMPUS OPERATE MORE COST

EFFECTIVELY IN A TIME OF ECONOMIC DOWNTURN

As you are all aware, these are difficult economic times. Already, the projected deficit in the state budget has impacted our bottom line at Southern in several ways. But even in this time of belt tightening, we can turn the challenges that face us into opportunities.

We welcome your thoughts about how we can operate more cost effectively and efficiently in support of our students' success. Please submit your cost-saving ideas along with your contact information.  The University Budget and Planning Commmittee will review all suggestions in light of our budgetary situation and make recommendations to the administration regarding implementation.
