HOW TO MAKE THE CAMPUS OPERATE MORE COST
EFFECTIVELY IN A TIME OF ECONOMIC DOWNTURN
As you are all aware, these are difficult economic times. Already, the projected deficit in the state budget has impacted our bottom line at Southern in several ways. But even in this time of belt tightening, we can turn the challenges that face us into opportunities.
We welcome your thoughts about how we can operate more cost effectively and efficiently in support of our students' success. Please submit your cost-saving ideas along with your contact information. The University Budget and Planning Commmittee will review all suggestions in light of our budgetary situation and make recommendations to the administration regarding implementation.
Thank you for your creative thoughts and active cooperation as we continue to advance our educational mission despite the current challenges.
The form for collecting ideas that was part of this web page is being reconstructed for the new website. In the meantime, please feel free to contact any member of the Budget and Planning Committee below.
