Advertising
Working closely with university contacts and departments, Public Affairs directs the
planning, creative development, and placement of advertising promoting Southern's
undergraduate and graduate recruiting, academic programs, and selected special events,
including the Distinguished Lecture Series. We utilize a range of media, including
broadcast, print, digital and social media, and outdoor. During the academic year
we produce Southern Scene, the university's arts calendar, publishing in area newspapers.
We are dedicated to refining and energizing our advertising messages and strategies
to assure that the exciting scope of Southern's offerings is clearly communicated
to potential students, their families, and the wider community.
