Dining Services

In early 2008, the dining service in Connecticut Hall stopped using paper trays, and as a result, dining hall waste dropped by 30%. Also in 2008, Connecticut Hall began its Healthy Choice program. Menu items that are healthy choices are listed with a Southern owl logo next to them. Additionally, a new program "Project Clean Plate" has been introduced as an annual program to prevent food waste by monitoring how many pounds are thrown away over a specific period. The less you take, the less waste you can make!
