National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)

What is the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)?

NSSE is a survey of college and university students that annually collects information at hundreds of four-year colleges and universities about student participation in programs and activities that institutions provide for their learning and personal development. NSSE doesn’t assess student learning directly, but survey results point to areas where colleges and universities are performing well and aspects of the undergraduate experience that could be improved.

Seniors and freshmen: tell us what you think! Complete the NSSE Survey today

If you are a current SCSU freshman or senior, you may have received an invitation in your Southern email to participate in the NSSE initiative. Although prizes have been awarded to early responders, we still need your help! You still have the chance to have your voice heard if you want a say at improving programs and services for SCSU students.

So….what are you waiting for? Hurry, we need your opinions now!  The survey is confidential and takes about 15 minutes to complete.

If you are a freshman or senior and no longer have your unique and confidential login information, please go to www.nssesurvey.org and select “Don’t know your Login ID.” Then, enter your complete Southern email address and the information will be sent to you.

Any questions about the NSSE survey should be directed to Dr. Michael Ben-Avie at benaviem1@southernct.edu or ext. (203) 392-8865.
