Online surveys

The Office of Assessment and Planning manages many surveys conducted throughout the year. Some surveys have included Parent and Student Orientation Surveys, Summer Session Surveys, and Student Success Evaluations. From the data collected, the Office of Assessment then compiles reports and frequency distributions in order to evaluate processes and programs to better serve the students and faculty in their experiences at Southern Connecticut State University.

  • The 2009 National Survey for Student Engagement (NSSE) was a success! Freshmen and seniors received notification of a survey titled The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) 2009 through their mySCSU e-mail account. NSSE is a national study of college students in which Southern Connecticut State University is participating. This is an excellent way to provide feedback on college experiences.
