what we do

 

The Office of Assessment and Planning supports the academic mission of Southern Connecticut State University by promoting the improvement of teaching and learning through:

  • training and technical assistance on assessment of student learning, academic program review, and accreditation;

  • assisting academic units with data gathering and analysis to inform decision-making;

  • coordinating university-wide assessment and accreditation efforts; and

  • preparing reports for external constituencies regarding assessment and accreditation at the request of the provost.
