Internship

 School candid

If you are an Art student seeking to complete an internship (ART 497) during the Spring 2014 or Fall 2014 semester, please consult the Internship Guide. Please read through the guide carefully.

Once you have secured an internship, the Internship Application Form must be completed in Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat Pro, and printed.  Please note that hand-written applications will not be accepted.  The application form must be signed by yourself, your Internship Supervisor (at the internship location), the Internship Coordinator (Professor Alex Girard) and the Chairperson of the Art Department (Professor David Levine).  The application may then be dropped off at the Dean of Arts and Sciences office located in EN A112. Please remember that you cannot receive credit for an internship unless it is pre-approved by the Art Department and the Dean of Arts and Sciences.

Once the Dean's office approves your internship, they will notify the Registrar, who will add the class to your schedule. Note that you cannot register directly for ART 497.

For more information about internships in studio art, please see the Undergraduate Catalog.  If you have additional questions, please contact Professor Alex Girard, Internship Coordinator.
