Irene Senedak received a BM from New England Conservatory and a MM from the University of Washington, Seattle. She is a founding member, Marzena New Music Ensemble and a frequent artist with Washington Composers Forum. Faculty accompanist and coach at University of Washington and Duke University. She has been a guest artist and collaborative pianist, Musicorda Festival, Holyoke, MA, Duke University and American Dance Festival, Durham, NC. Irene was honored with the Senior Teacher Recognition Award, SCSU, 2001. Since 1998, Irene has been part of the Music Department and Piano Department faculties at SCSU and the Neighborhood Music School, New Haven. Master classes and performances with some of the world’s best musical notables including, Branford Marsalis, Eric Pritchard, Ciompi String Quartet, Marilyn Mulvey, and as collaborative pianist and soloist with numerous ensembles and orchestras throughout the U.S.
