Xiaomei Yang is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Southern Connecticut State University and a Research Associate in the Research Center on Computing and Society. She received her Ph.D in Philosophy from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln . She is specialized in Chinese Philosophy & Religion and Ethical Theory. She taught at the East Tennessee State University , the University of Nebraska - Omaha , The College of New Jersey, and Temple University before she joined the Dept. of Philosophy at SCSU in 2007. She does research in early Chinese Philosophy, Metaethics and Moral Psychology. She has published articles in the History of Philosophy Quarterly, Metaphilosophy, Southwest Philosophy Review, Philosophy Compass, and Dao: A Journal of Comparative Philosophy.
