Business Librarian

SCSU has a Business Librarian, Ms. Diane R. Tomasko. Ms. Tomasko is available to assist business students in their research. More specifically, she  can assist students in identifying the appropriate database(s), searching the database(s) more efficiently, linking to the databases with GoogleScholar, using the correct citation formats, and more.  

Since many of the MBA students are working, and therefore not available during regularly scheduled office hours, Ms. Tomasko is willing to meet students outside of her below  mentioned times - including Saturdays if needed. Because Buley Library closes at 4:30pm on Fridays, she can offer class instruction sessions in smart classrooms but cannot meet with individuals on Friday evenings.

If students choose to send her an email, it is helpful if they put the course number (e.g. MBA 504) in the subject line.

Schedule: M 8 am - 4 pm, Tu 8 am - 4 pm, W noon - 5 pm, Th 1 pm - 9 pm/noon-7:30 pm,    F 8 am - 4 pm.

Ms. Tomasko provides research assistance in the Trading Room/SB Room 5 on Wednesdays from 3 to 5 pm and alternating Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:30 pm. No appointment needed and drop-ins welcome!
