Applicants to either of the two school certification programs (school counseling and
school psychology) can find more information about the required special education course in that section. This is a state requirement that all students must meet to be matriculated
in either of these two programs.
Students interested in any of the programs within the Counseling and School Psychology
Department need to undergo a background check that includes fingerprinting and a criminal record check.
The CSP department holds certain priorities, values, and expectations to be important
in our training process. Specifically, CSP values proficiency in three core areas
