All students seeking acceptance into the Bilingual Elementary program must first complete the University Requirements and the six standards for entrance into the School of Education.

In addition to completing the coursework leading to certification in elementary education, the bilingual education program also includes the following courses:

• FLA 315 - Foundations of Bilingual Studies
• FLA 418 - ESL Methods in Content Instruction
• FLA 321 - Assessment for English Language Learners
