sports medicine club
The Sports Medicine Club is a university-sponsored organization for those students
interested in athletic training. This organization is comprised primarily of those
students who are enrolled in the CAATE Accredited Athletic Training Education Program.
This club serves the university and local communities to provide an understanding
of the athletic training/sports medicine profession. The students in this club work
together to educate athletes and physically active individuals on the importance of
preventative health care; serve the community by providing volunteer service and health
care for athletic events; and join together socially and to raise funds for projects
throughout the school year.
