UTILIZING INSTRUCTIONAL MEDIA


COURSE DESCRIPTION

Workshop in the effective use of computer based instructional media including the planning, selection and production of materials. Prerequisite: basic computer skills or permission of instructor. Scheduled fall and spring semesters. 3 credits.

   VI.     Unit 6: Individual Practices or Assignments in the Computer Lab

   VII.   Unit 7: Publishing Documents on the Web I -- HTML Coding

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

1.     Team Project: 500 pts. -- 50%

╖     Final (revised) documentation including Formative Evaluation: 150 pts.
╖     Instructional Media/Materials: 120 pts.
╖     Team Presentation: 50 pts.
2.     Individual Assignments: 500 pts. -- 50%
╖     Individual Assignment I -- Multimedia PowerPoint Presentation: 150 pts.
╖     Individual Assignment II -- Development of Web Page: 150 pts.
╖     Individual Assignment III -- Development of Online Tutorial: 150 pts
╖     Class Attendance/Participation/Contribution: 50 pts.
