rec Club

The Recreation and Leisure Studies Department has a university-recognized club, the REC Club, that is open to all undergraduate students, majors and non-majors, with an interest in making recreation a vibrant campus activity. The REC Club has a faculty member who advises the club members and the executive board.

The REC Club has an annual university budget which allows club members to plan activities and events. Meetings are announced during the semester on the REC Club Bulletin Board located in the OB 1 offices of the department and on MySCSU at the Groups tab.

Officers are elected to an executive board each year, and students are encouraged to run for office and to be active in the club's events. Anyone interested in being a member or becoming an officer is asked to contact the faculty adviser or by visiting the department offices to ask for the schedule of meetings.
