Dr. Wafeek Abdelsayed

Dr. Abdelsayed has a Ph.D. in Business Administration with an Accounting concentration from the University of Connecticut, an MBA in Finance and an MS in Accounting from Adelphi University, and a BBA from Hofstra University. He is also a CPA (New York), a CMA, CFM, CIA, CFE, CCSA, CFSA, CGAP, and CGFM, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Accounting. His research interests include audit judgment and decision-making, and financial accounting. He has presented papers in both the auditing and financial accounting areas at various national and regional conferences. He has also authored questions for the CPA and CIA exams and reviewed several textbooks. D Dr. Abdelsayed is an academic reviewer for the Journal of Applied Business Research, Internal Auditor, and Business Journal. He has taught Financial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Accounting Theory, Auditing, and Corporate Finance. Dr. Abdelsayed is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Beta Alpha Psi, and Delta Mu Delta national honor societies and is listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education, and Who's Who in Industry and Finance.

Dr. Emmanuel Emenyonu

Dr. Emenyonu holds a Ph.D. and a master's in accounting from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, an M.B.A. in Finance, and a B.S. in accounting from the University of Nigeria. His teaching areas include Financial, Managerial, and International Accounting.

Dr. Robert J. Kirsch | |

Dr. Kirsch holds a Ph.D. in Accounting with a minor in International Business from the University of South Carolina (1986), an M.B.A. with a Finance concentration from the University of South Carolina (1982), and a master's in International Relations from the University of South Carolina (1977). He also holds a Ph.D. in Middle East Area Studies with a Political Science concentration from Dropsie College in Marion, Penn. (1974). His B.A. in German is from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Penn. (1965). His main research interests are international accounting, international accounting standards, and harmonization; globalization of securities trading and disclosure requirements; impact of culture on firms; and relationships between accounting standards and government policy. He has published in ABACUS; The International Journal of Accounting; Research in Accounting Regulation; Advances in International Accounting; International Journal of Management; Accounting Horizons; Management Accounting; and Expert Systems with Applications: An International Journal; and is the author of the book "The International Accounting Standards Committee: A Political History." He has taught International Accounting, Intermediate Accounting I and II, Principles of Financial and Managerial Accounting, Financial Statement Analysis, and Contemporary Accounting Issues.

Mr. Radha Narumanchi |

Professor Narumanchi holds an M.B.A. in accounting from Bernard Baruch College. He is also a CPA (N.Y.) and holds an ICWA ( India). His areas of teaching include Financial and Managerial Accounting, and Federal Income Tax.

Dr. Janet F. Phillips Business School 107 | |

Dr. Phillips holds an Sc.D. in Management Systems from the University of New Haven (1997), an MBA in Finance from the University of New Haven (1991), and a BS in Accounting from Bryant College (1979). She is a CPA in Massachusetts and Connecticut, and a member of the AICPA, CSCPA, and AAA. Courses taught include Intermediate Accounting I and II, Accounting Theory, Advanced Accounting, Federal Income Tax and Auditing. Dr. Phillips received the SCSU School of Business Teaching Award in 2004 and the SCSU School of Business Research Award in 2003 and 1999. Her research interests include not-for-profit and healthcare accounting. She has published articles in Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Healthcare Financial Management, Journal of Healthcare Finance and the Journal of Business and Behavioral Sciences and has presented papers at the American Accounting Association Ohio and Northeast Regional meetings. For these efforts, Dr. Phillips received the School of Business Research Award in May of 1999.
